Seprasse Squid

Riding a jet of water the diminutive seprasse squid rushes through the deeps of Sol'Kesh's southern ocean in a shoal of dozens. With the use of a high-functioning siphuncle and numerous expelling jets the seprasse is an agile and overpowering swarm, able to change direction nearly instantly and generate bursts of speed many other sea creatures cannot match. When spying large cetaceans the shoal rushes forward, streaming bubbles in its wake as they charge headlong into the slow mammal. A chitin-hardened mantle spears its side as the seprasse plunges itself into the flesh of its prey, clawed tentacles then pull itself out of the mortal wound and cling on to the quickly sinking creature, feasting on it's remains before it falls too far into the depths.
