+++ The Rustblossum depicted above is in the process of launching a seed-spore. Nearing the end of it’s life cycle the Rustblossum’s abdomen has grown into a coiled nest of ligaments that launches seed daily until the crustacean collapses from exhaustion in the hope that it’s far reaching seed floats away from the incoming tide and eventually to nest on distant shores.
