Cryptid - Honey Island Swamp Monster

Did this illustration for an upcoming RPG book by Storm Bunny Studios. This beast was tricky one cause the original story is nuts,

A local legend tells of a train crash in the area in the early twentieth century. A travelling circus was on the train, and from it a group of chimpanzees escaped, interbreeding with the local alligator population.

With this description --
The creature is described as bipedal, 7 feet (2 m) tall, with gray hair and yellow or red eyes, and accompanied by a disgusting smell. Footprints supposedly left by the creature have three webbed toes, according to local myth.

So I'm not sure who loved who first in that relationship, but I thought it would be cool if there was a native ape/monkey in Louisiana that people thought was half alligator because of some traits.
