Creature Journal Aphistus

Hey everyone, new creature for the bestiary! The Aphistus, this is the first creature illustration in the journals and after 2 years I'm really excited to re-share the updated and improved version. It's hulking avian that through millions of years of foraging on the forest floor for hard shelled nuts that needed a lot of muscle to pull at the roots it converged on many gorilla-like traits. While a rather peaceful creature, when its kin is threatened it can make a fiercely strong adversary
