Ocuratis

It is unknown whether the small fluttering ocuratis’ origins are from natural means or a mad wizard’s creation gone awry, either way it has found it’s way into becoming a recent addition to a magic user’s choice familiar.
The fragile creature is generally found flying through the large leaf canopies of tropical forests, preying upon the gestating cocoons of insects, peering through the chrysalis’ natural camouflage with unerring accuracy.
With their chaotic multitude of eyes the ocuratis sees beyond the visual spectrum, infrared, ultraviolet, even ethereal, no creature be it natural, divine or arcane can hide it’s form from it’s erratically blinking eyes. This power of sight is a highly sought over advantage to many, using the flying orb creature as either as a companion or sentry to ward and spy out any and all hidden creatures and objects. Though immeasurable useful and nimble, a simple mirror can disorient it, leaving it stunned, fatally dropping to floor like a overripe fruit.
