Occulop

Flying lazily in the air, the crustacean nearly floats above the flowering fields of the Southern Telkeshian Wyldens. Growing up to a foot in diameter the occulop roams near the nectar grazing blomuxes, inhaling the ample stirred up pollen in their wake. The relationship between the two creatures is one of the strongest examples of symbiotic evolution in the Wyldens as the occulop uses its higher vantage point to react to incoming predators with high pitch squeaks, while the expelled methane from the grazing herd beasts is inhaled along with the pollen, filling in gas chambers along the thorax aiding in keeping it aloft.
