A cold wind blows across a pristine white field on the Tundrus. During the wintering months this Farplains plateau is often nestled in a blanket of snow, with little to stir it but the fall of more. Curious snuffling snorts are heard and an exhaled breath breaches the snow as several rotund furred shapes breathe in the crisp air. The boreakull are one of the few creatures on Sol’Kesh that thrive in the winter, their thick fur and high concentrations of glucose in their blood stave off the frigid temperatures and allow them to dig deep for hibernating root vegetables. While often hidden, draffers spot the mounds their tunneling droves will make and hunt these small swines throughout the short days of winter.
