Populate your adventures with the Tartakka, a fierce and territorial plains beast, liable to charge anything that nears its herd.

Galloping over dusty sparse grasslands, the fiercely territorial tartakka makes for difficult prey as it roams widely in small herds searching for shallow root vegetables and hardy thick-fleshed gourds. Unlike most herbivores, these beasts are far from placid grazers, both males and females are quick to charge at any threat to their herd, often thoughtlessly leaving their young to hide in the dust of their incensed pursuit.
